How to remove an instance

To remove an instance from the DBOD service, please go to the resource portal and delete the associated resource.

Once the resource is removed from the resource portal, the instance will be automatically expired by the DBOD service automations. An instance in expired state is stopped and hidden from the user in the web interface, but its data is kept for some time. As a general rule of thumb, the expired instances are kept in the service for at least three months, after that period of time the instances are destroyed, meaning that its data is no longer recoverable.
